The OSEP Spanish Glossary Project:  Reaching a Consensus on Translations of IDEA 

This webinar featured the new web-based Spanish Glossary of IDEA Terms funded by the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) and developed by the Region 1 Parent Technical Assistance Center @ SPAN. The glossary is designed to address the need for commonly accepted Spanish terms for translating information on IDEA for families from English to Spanish.  The webinar was presented by Carmen Sanchez of OSEP and Debra Jennings, Myriam Alizo, and Mercedes Rosa of the Statewide Parent Advocacy Network (SPAN).
