Frequently Asked Question
Question: Is there a free video editing tool in order to make 30 second snippets of workshops for our website? We have some filmed sessions on CD and would love to rip out small teasers.
Answer:
Some Mac's come with "I-Movie" for video editing.
Windows Users can download "Windows Live Movie Maker" for Windows XP and later operating systems for free.
If you just want a snippet of a video, I use "Any Video Converter" which is available for free for Mac and PC. This tool is primarily a video format conversion tool, but it does allow you to trim the video also.
