Question: What resources are available to translate documents or websites into Spanish or other languages?

Answer:

¡TradúceloAhora! (Translate Now!), described further in the resources below, is an automatic translation program from IBM that provides web, email, and text bi-directional English-Spanish translations. Other technology tools to assist in translation for multiple languages include Google translate and Babel Fish.

Feature: ¡TradúceloAhora!

¡TradúceloAhora! (Translate Now!),  is an automatic translation program created by IBM to help Spanish speakers gain increased access to information on the internet and improve communication between Spanish speaking parents and teachers.

¡TradúceloAhora! uses IBM’s Websphere translation software to provide bidirectional English – Spanish translations of:

  • websites
  • emails
  • web searches
  • text

Parent Center staff can register to use this program and also share access with families and professionals they serve. To receive a registration passcode, email gretchen.godfrey@pacer.org.
