Goals of the Region 3 PTAC
The goals of the 2008-2013 grant project for the Region 3 PTAC are:
1. Increase the capacity of the parent centers to:
- Manage their centers effectively and efficiently;
- Help families of children with disabilities, ages birth to 26 years, understand special and regular education laws, policies, and evidence-based practices;
- Form strong partnerships with the SEAs, LEAs, and lead agencies for early intervention in their State.
2. Promote the provision of a unified and coordinated technical assistance system for Parent Centers that has strong connections with the other members of the OSEP TA&D Network.
