About Us

Matrix serves as a Regional Parent Technical Assistance Center (RPTAC) for Parent Training and Information Centers (PTIs) and Community Parent Resource Centers (CPRC). In this role Region 6 TA at Matrix provides technical assistance through a variety of services to the region’s 21 parent centers that operate 24 parent programs.

There are six Regional Parent Technical Assistance centers called RPTACs and a national coordinating office: National Technical Assistance Center The National Technical Assistance Center provides a variety of services including publications, curriculum and informational updates to support the nation’s 106 Parent Centers.

Region 6 PTAC is funded through Cooperative Agreement #H328R080008 with the U.S. Department of Education Office of Special Education Programs.
