Overview

The Technology Leadership Initiative (TLI) project was awarded to the National Parent Technical Assistance Center and conducted in collaboration with the Region 5 Parent Technical Assistance Center. The goal of the TLI was to help Parent Centers use technology more effectively in meeting the missions of their organizations. Parent Centers engaged in a strategic planning process to learn how to better incorporate technology into their business practices and programs, rather than viewing technology as a separate tool.

Thank you to the eight Parent Centers who piloted the project and worked tremendously hard to use this new process to incorporate technology more strategically into their work: Sinergia (NY), STEP (TN), Louisiana PTI (LA), PEAL Center (PA), Philadelphia HUNE (PA), Denver Metro Community Parent Resource Center (CO), South Dakota Parent Connection (SD), and TASK (CA).

Many of the resources used throughout the project are included on this website, as well as general resources on a variety of technology topics. If you have questions regarding the strategic technology planning process, please contact the National PTAC or Region 5 PTAC.
